Programming - Models DT661, DT663, DT665

Setting the Tax Rate:
  1. Set the "Tax / Currency" slide switch to the "Tax" position.
  2. Press the "C/CE" key twice to clear all current entries.
  3. Enter the required rate e.g. "17.5"
  4. Press the "RATE" key.
  5. Press the "+TAX / C1 (SET)" key.
  6. The tax rate is now set.
Checking the Tax Rate:
  1. Set the "Tax / Currency" slide switch to the "Tax" position.
  2. Press the "RATE" key.
  3. Press the "-TAX / C2 (RECALL)" key.
  4. The stored tax rate is shown.
Setting the Currency Rate:
  1. Set the "Tax / Currency" slide switch to the "Currency" position.
  2. Press the "C/CE" key twice to clear all current entries.
  3. Enter the required rate e.g. "1.5"
  4. Press the "RATE" key.
  5. Press the "+TAX / C1 (SET)" key.
  6. The tax rate is now set.
Checking the Currency Rate:
  1. Set the "Tax / Currency" slide switch to the "Currency" position.
  2. Press the "RATE" key.
  3. Press the "-TAX / C2 (RECALL)" key.
  4. The stored tax rate is shown.

Setting the Tax Rate:
  1. Press the "ON/C-CE" key twice to clear all current entries.
  2. Enter the required rate e.g. "17.5"
  3. Press the "RATE" key.
  4. Press the "+TAX (SET)" key.
  5. The tax rate is now set.
Checking the Tax Rate:
  1. Press the "RATE" key.
  2. Press the "-TAX  (RECALL)" key.
  3. The stored tax rate is shown.

Setting the Currency Rate:
  1. Press the "ON/C" key twice to clear all current entries.
  2. Enter the required rate e.g. "1.5"
  3. Press the "SET" key & hold down until the icon on the display changes from "SET" to the bank notes symbol (local currency) .
  4. The currency rate is now set.
Checking the Currency Rate:
  1. Press the key with the bank note symbol on.
  2. The stored tax rate is shown.
Programming - Model DT401 (new version)
Setting the Currency Rate:
  1. Press the "ON/C" key twice to clear all current entries.
  2. Enter the required rate e.g. "1.5"
  3. Press the "SET" key
  4. Press the local currency button.
  5. The currency rate is now set.
Checking the Currency Rate:
  1. Press the key with the bank note symbol on.
  2. The stored tax rate is shown.
